Dear Sirs,

Referring to our order of 14th Sept, we shall be glad to know when we may expect delivery, as the engine is urgent needed by our customer. The delivery was promised within ten days, and we have been put to considerable inconvenience through this long delay. Please wire us immediately and let u know if you can deliver us the engine by 24th October, at the latest. Alternatively, we shall have to procure the engine from some other company.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter dated 13th October and confirm having sent the following telegram today:
'Goods will be dispatched on Twentieth'

We  regret very much for this delay in executing your order but we may assure you that this was because of circumstances beyond our control. The sudden breakdown of machinery in our workshop has disrupted our whole channel of supply. Our mechanics and engineers are working day and night and the machinery is expected to be in order within a day or two. At accordingly, we hope we shall be able to dispatch your engine by 20th October.

We hope you will excuse us for the inconvenience caused. Assuring you of our best services always,
