Dear Sirs,

On opening cases of nails and Screws we find that none of qualities, size or shapes correspond with our order dated 1st October, nor do they correspondence with the invoice sent by Oil with your letter dated 9th October. Evidently you have sent us wrong goods which have caused us great inconvenience as we do not deal in this line of goods at all. We, therefore, request you to please wire us immediately and let us know when we may expect the correct goods. Meanwhile we are holding this consignment with us.

Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letters dated 13th October confirm having sent the following telegram today: 
"Correct Goods Dispatched Today"

We deeply regret to find that owing to a clerical mistake our packing department the wrong goods have been sent to you. We assure you that such a thing has never happen with us in whole of our 20 years' experience as the utmost care is always taken, and it occurred now only by reason of a figure being misread by a new clerk who writes out d packing orders and, moreover, the total quantities happened to be the same, although the assortment arid size were different.

We may reassure you that such a thing is not likely to happen again and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. We have dispatched the correct goods today and have instructed our agent in Bombay to see, you and collect the wrong goods.

Please debit our account with any expense you have incurred in connection with this consignment and deduct the amount while making payment of the bill for correct goods.,
