Application for the Post of Receptionist-cum- Telephone Operator
1799, S.M. Street,
Nagpur.
Dated:-_________
The Personnel Officer,
S.K. Rayon Corporation,
Kanpur.
Dear Sir,
Subject: Post of Receptionist-cum- Telephone Operator
In response to your advertisement in this morning's 'Indian Express' I submit my application for the above mentioned post in the light of my qualifications and experience detailed below.
Having passed my Matriculation Examination from Salwan Girl's High School, New Delhi, I joined S.N. Das Gupta College, New Delhi, from where I passed my B.A. Examination in 1969.
Since September, 1969, I am working as 'Receptionist-¬cum-Telephone Operator' with Messrs. Rita Rayon Industries, Kanpur.
My willingness in seeking an appointment in your firm arises from the fact that my present employers with limited range of their business cannot afford better prospects to their employees.
As regards my work, my present employers are fully satisfied with me and as a matter of fact they sympathise with my desire to improve my prospects by joining your firm. You may refer to them as to my abilities, if necessary.
My age is 27 and I come from a very respectable family of Kanpur.
Hoping for a favourable reply,
Yours faithfully,
Miss Kiran Nayar
