Dear Sir,
I understand that you are in need of the services of an experienced Manager-"Just see if the following details will meet the requirements of your office!":
Qualifications:
i. B.Com. (Hons) from the University of Madras in 1957, with Advanced Accountancy and Auditing ad special subjects, securing 73% and 67% marks, respectively. The aggregate percentage of marks was 65.
ii. Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Delhi in 1960, with 62% aggregate.
iii. Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, Calcutta, in 1965.
iv. Appeared in the final examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, Calcutta in 1970
Experience:
1961-63-Assistant Manager, Messrs. Surti Trading Co., Delhi. Main duties comprised: Control over all accounts and financial matters, over all correspondence connected with purchase, sales accounts and general administration.
1964 till date-Manager, Messrs. Bharati Brothersl,l Madras. Main duties comprise:. Control over all accounts and financial matter; arrangements for Board's meetings and writing of minutes of the meetings; control over the Graders, Sales and Purchase Department, care of general administration and to officiate and take responsibilities of General Manager during the period of his absence from town (normally six days in a month)
Special Knowledge:
i. Attended a week's Programme on "Office Procedures" conducted by Messrs. AR. Palit & Co., leading consultants on the subject, in Delhi.
ii. Acquaintance with modem methods of advertising and publicity, as also marketing and salesmanship. I also attended a two month's Programme on 'Advertisement and Publicity' conducted by Madras Productivity Council, Madras.
iii. Familiarity with modem methods with profit sharing as applicable in Indian Industry.
iv. Confidence in creating co-ordination among staff and officers.
Age :46 years
Present Salary and Other Benefits :
Pay Rs.1900/-per month
Provident Fund contribution at the rate of 8% with equal share from the employers Average bonus has been 4 months' basic pay (Rs. 5,600/-)
First Class to and fro rail fare, once in year, for visiting native place (Delhi).
Minimum Expected Salary:
Rs. 2300/- per month.
Notice Period:
3 months.
Languages Known :
Foreign: English, French and German
Indian: Hindi and Tamil
