Sir,
With reference to your advertisement in the "The Hindustan Times" dated the 17th July, for the post of a Stenographer, I beg to offer myself as a candidate and submit the following details for your consideration.
Education: Passed S.S.L.C. Exanimation from Bombay University with Second Class. Learnt typewriting and shorthand at Pitman's Institute, Bombay. Present Typing and Shorthand speed, 45 and 110 words per "minute respectively.
Experience : Working as a Steno-Typist with Messrs. Salwan Furnishers, New Delhi, for the last 2 years.
Have picked up thorough knowledge of Office Routine.
Age : 25 years.
If given a chance, I assure you that I shall prove diligent and honest in the execution of duties entrusted to me.
I shall be glad to accept a minimum salary of Rs. 600/- to start with.
